The Organization’s First Project Funding Plan:

The Haitian American Historical Society (H.A.H.S.) received its charter and IRS 501(c) tax exempt status in the State of Florida. The Board of Directors of this organization includes political and business leaders from the community. Other Board positions are held by professionals and people with specialist knowledge (i.e., historians, marketing coordinators, engineers, architects, educators, etc.). This proposal is to describe our own journey to recognize and mobilize the resources required to raise the projected 1.5 million dollars essential to the completion of the project. We are seeking the support and contribution of everyone and anyone, especially those of African descent as well as Haitians both in Haiti and abroad. This project is of particular interest to all African descendants, especially African Americans, friends of Haiti, and the growing three million Haitian Americans (including the one million strong Haitian registered voters who live in the United States of America) as well as their associates, families, and friends living abroad.

we will engrave your name on a brick

· We will place that brick, with your name on it, in Savannah’s Franklin Square where the Chasseurs Volontaires Monument is to be erected.
· We will send you a Certificate of Recognition with a picture of your brick in it so you can hang it in your living room as proof that your did something great
